2011 Winter Snowsports

To be announced in September

Winter Snowsports registration is simple.  Please look at the dates listed.  When snowsports dates are filled, they are marked in red.  We can no longer take registration for those days.  Days in white are available.  Just email us or call and let us know when you want to come.  If you choose email, please give us some background information such as the nature of the disability, how many in the party, etc.  We will email you back with confirmation or additional questions.  Sometimes, personal calls work best and don't hesitate to use that option if you choose.

Please go to our registration page for necessary forms.  Due to abuse of our very open door policy it has now become necessary to charge without a minimum of 48 hours notification of cancellation or additional or fewer participants.  Each person over or the designated head count or lack of timely notification will result in a $10 per person charge.  We are sorry to have to enforce this change and any inconvenience it may cause.

Wilderness camping at one of five sites.

Running the gates is fun and teaches            new skills such as carving.

Snowboarding has become just as popular as skiing on Challenge Mountain.

Summer Schedule

Spirit Day Camp

Spirit Day Camp is a wonderful edition to Challenge Mountain.  Spirit Day Camp is not a location, it is instead a means of people with special needs taking daily adventures throughout northern Michigan to learn and enjoy new outdoor activities.  Open to most functional leveled youth and adults, the fun begins the minute you step on the bus to go to a new location.  Day camps are Monday -Friday for week long sessions.  One may register for one or both camps.  There is a $100 registration fee with scholarship funds available.  Sessions are July 5-9 and July 12-16.

For more information, please contact George Armstrong at 231-526-5309.
