View or purchase Lodge Podge at the Boyne City Mushroom Festival May 17-19, 2007. 

Lodge Podge is a collaborative effort between Challenge Mountain and the Orion High School students.   These students are program participants at Challenge Mountain.  They became involved to help raise funds for the programs they enjoy participating in, so that others may benefit from like they do.   All proceeds from Lodge Podge sales go directly to Challenge Mountain and the Orion School High School.

This program is unique. The students under the director of the Challenge Mountain Maintenance Director, Richard Katz and Orion High School Teacher Carol Melvin are constructing the furniture from discarded or resalable skis and snowboards.  The skis and boards come to Challenge Mountain through donation from the community.  The two have taken this opportunity to raise funds for the school, Challenge Mountain, and the students themselves who will receive a stipend from the money the school earns.  Pictured below are the students involved and the items they are selling.
