    Directions to Challenge Mountain:
    From North of Petoskey

    Take U.S. 131 9 miles south from Petoskey to Springvale Rd.  At blinker light on US 131, turn left, go 1/2 mile to yield sign.  At the yield sign the road remains named Springvale.  Go 2.8 miles to a Challenge Mountain sign on the corner.  The road is named Springbrook.  Take Springbrook 1.4 miles to Challenge Mountain.  We are on the right side of the road. 

    From Gaylord

    From I-75, take Vanderbilt exit, go straight to Thumb Lake Rd., go 10 miles on Thumb Lake, to Springbrook.  At Springbrook Rd., turn right, go 3.5 miles to "T" in road.  Turn left, and go .9 mile, we are on the left side.

    From South on 131

    Go north of Boyne Falls blinker light 1/4 mile to Thumb Lake Road.  Turn right onto Thumb Lake Rd.  Go 2 miles to Springbrook Rd. turn left.  Follow Springbrook 3.5 miles to "T" in road.  Turn left, go .9 mile to Challenge Mountain on left side of road.
