Programs
The program began with the desire to continue the work we do with the physically disabled, mentally impaired, and at risk youth. The program allows a large following of volunteers to provide adaptive ski services in the Cadillac area. The program is administered by Wayne Foucart, who is the Vice President of the Challenge Mountain Board members.
When approached with the idea, Caberfae Peaks enthusiastically agreed to allow our clientele to ski free of charge, keeping with our philosophy of not adding to the financial burden families face. The staff at Caberfae Peaks is very helpful, accommodating to the clientele, and very much appreciated by all involved. We thank them for their contribution and the ability to meet the growing need of people with physical or emotional challenges to help develop a stronger sense of self esteem, confidence, and dignity.
